Can I try a class for free?
If you live in the Miami area, yes — your first class is on us. Tell us a little about yourself and we will call you to find the class that fits your level and schedule. If you are visiting Miami rather than living here, the free class does not apply, but you are very welcome to drop in: a single class is $35 and an unlimited week is $135.
I'm visiting Miami — can I drop in?
Absolutely, visitors are a big part of our community. A single coached class is $35 and an unlimited week is $135. Every drop-in includes the class, towel service, showers, and the cold plunge. Book online before you arrive and just show up a few minutes early so a coach can meet you.
How much does a membership cost?
Memberships are month-to-month with no annual contract, and we have both limited and unlimited options. Which one is right for you depends on how often you plan to train, so we go through the options with you on your first visit rather than pushing everyone toward the same plan. Drop-in pricing is published: $35 for a single class, $135 for an unlimited week.
Are there any contracts or long-term commitments?
No. We believe in what we do and have no interest in locking anyone into a long-term contract. Let us know 24 hours before your next billing period and we will honor the cancellation. If you forget to pause or cancel, email membership@wfcmia.com and we will cancel and pro-rate a refund for the unused portion.
Do I need to be fit or have CrossFit experience first?
No, and this is the single most common worry we hear. Our members range from people who have never set foot in a gym to competitive athletes, and every workout is scaled to the person doing it. Our coaches have worked with adaptive and impaired athletes as well. You do not need to get in shape before you start — starting is how you get in shape.
What is my first class actually like?
You arrive about ten minutes early and a coach meets you, learns what you are working with, and walks you through the movements before anything starts. The class warms up together, the coach teaches the day's movements and shows you how to scale them, and then you train alongside everyone else. Expect to be coached the whole way through, not left to figure it out.
What is the difference between CrossFit and HYROX?
CrossFit is broad strength and conditioning — barbells, gymnastics, and varied workouts that build general fitness. HYROX is a hybrid racing format: eight one-kilometer runs alternating with eight functional stations like sled pushes, farmers carries, and wall balls. Many of our members do both. You do not need to be training for a race to take a HYROX class.
Is CrossFit dangerous?
This is a common misconception and the answer is emphatically no. CrossFit has been shown to have injury rates on par with or lower than nearly all physical fitness regimens. Our emphasis on individual attention and moving with proper technique before adding intensity makes it safer still.
What are your hours?
Class times run Mon–Thu 6am–8:30pm, Friday 6am–7:15pm, Saturday 9am–11:15am, Sunday 9am–11am. Open gym is available to members from opening to closing every day. The full weekly class schedule, including which slots are CrossFit, HYROX, and strength, is on our schedule page.
Where are you located, and is there parking?
We are at 564 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127, in the heart of Wynwood. First come, first serve parking available onsite, plus ample street parking on our block. Call us at (786) 590-0590 if you have trouble finding us.
What should I bring?
Just training clothes and running shoes. We provide towels, and there are showers and a cold plunge for after your workout. The gym is fully air conditioned, which matters more than you would think in a Miami summer.
